Hello, Kilimani residents! This past week has been quite challenging for us, hasn’t it? With the mains power being unavailable half the time, especially during the day, we’ve all had to find ways to adapt. At our Anko retail shop on Chaka Road, we saw this as an opportunity to test the Marstek 500w Power Station. Could this device light up our 2000 square feet shop? Let’s find out.
The Need for an Alternative Power Source
The frequent power outages in Kilimani have been more than just an inconvenience. They’ve affected our ability to serve you, our valued customers, at the Anko retail shop. That’s why we decided to try out the Marstek 500w Power Station. This portable power station promised to provide a reliable alternative to mains power, and we were eager to put it to the test.
Preparing for the Test
Our preparations began the night before the test. We charged the power station overnight to ensure it was ready for the day ahead. The next step involved connecting the shop’s lights to the power station. This required the expertise of an electrician, but the task was completed in less than 30 minutes.
The Test
With the lights connected to the power station, we were ready to begin the test. Our shop has 25 lights, each with a power rating of 100w. We switched on the lights and watched as the Marstek 500w Power Station powered them up. The result? The power station was able to light up our shop for an impressive 6 hours!
Conclusion
